Change Programme

The IPCC is currently carrying out an organisation-wide Change Programme, reviewing how we carry out our business to ensure that we are in a strong position to meet the challenges of the future. Over a three-year period, we expect to introduce new ways of working across the organisation, creating a better complaints system and improving our internal processes

A Change Programme Team is being established to manage and deliver the changes. The following roles exist as part of this Team:

• Programme Director
• Programme Manager
• Programme Support Officer

Further roles are likely to be identified as the work of the Change Programme develops.

Strategy and Communications Directorate

This Directorate supports strategic development across the IPCC and has key links to the Chair and CEO, Commissioners, Directors and senior management. It oversees the delivery of improvements by working closely with IPCC operations and business partners across the system.

The primary functions of the Directorate are to:

• manage intelligence about the IPCC and the wider complaints system
• plan for the IPCC and complaints system
• deliver improvement initiatives
• communicate the findings and work of the IPCC

A Director and three heads of functions lead the Directorate, typically managing staff working in the following roles:

• Support and administration assistants
• Corporate Communications Officers
• Media Officers
• Research Officers
• Performance Officers
• Planning Officers
• Risk and Assurance Officers
• Policy Project Managers
