Tom Davies

A native of Abergele in North Wales, Tom Davies taught in Clwyd and Cheshire before becoming Head of The Groves High School, Wrexham for ten years.

Following a period as a senior adviser for the Bradford Education Authority, he worked in Clwyd and North Yorkshire as deputy director of education. After moving back to Wales, he took up the post of director of education and cultural services for Cardiff County Council from 1993 to 1999.

Tom is also a member of the Board of the newly formed Independent Safeguarding Authority.
