Complaints against the IPCC
If you have a complaint about the IPCC or a member of IPCC staff, please let us know and we do our best to address your concerns. Our procedure for handling complaints made against us is intended to be confidential, fair and conducted as quickly as possible.
If you have a complaint or query about a casework decision we will do our best to clearly explain the reason for our decisions and answer any concerns you have. Please note however that our casework decisions are final and we will not necessarily be able to change the outcome. For further information or advice on your rights you can contact a Citizens Advice Bureau, solicitor or your local MP.
Making your complaint
In the first instance you can contact the person concerned and the matter may be resolved there and then or you can raise any issues of concern through a line manager.
If you prefer you can write to the Internal Complaints Manager who will consider your complaint and let you know how long we expect it will take to resolve. If your complaint is particularly complex it may take longer to resolve, but we will agree with you the best way to keep you informed.
You can download a complaint form and make your complaint against the IPCC using the contact details below.
