North London death in custody man named

The 23 year old man who died in police custody on Sunday 11 May has been named as Oyinloye Francis Alabi Awogboro at the opening of the inquest at St Pancras Coroner’s Court today (13 May).

Mr Awogboro lived in Reculver Road, SE16.

A post mortem was carried out yesterday afternoon which was inconclusive. Further analysis is being carried out.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is investigating the circumstances surrounding Mr Awogboro’s death.
