Disability Equality Scheme 2006-9

In line with its duties under the Disability Discrimination Act, the IPCC published its Disability Equality Scheme for 2006-9 on Monday 4 December 2006.

You can request a copy of the scheme in an alternative format (including Braille, audio CD and cassette) by contacting us.  Printed copies of the scheme in any of the versions listed can also be supplied on request.

As part of the development of this scheme, we have created guidance for staff on conducting a disability equality impact assessment.  This guidance is available online, and will be revised in the first quarter of 2007 after beinng trialled by staff.

Copies of the earlier draft version of the IPCC's Disability Equality Scheme that entered a 3-month period of public consultation on 12 July 2006 can also be found online.  This draft predates the current version.
