Access to the scheme itself?

The IPCC’s Race Equality scheme is available on the website to internal and external stakeholders.  Because it is a living document and will be regularly updated, we are not proposing to translate it or produce in hard-copy unless requested.  We are concerned that a web-based scheme is not equally accessible to everyone – not everyone has access to the internet.  We will therefore be closely monitoring this proposal – looking at, for example, webhits on the scheme and awareness among our staff and stakeholders.

The Race Equality scheme (1mb pdf) is available in full and hard-copies can be requested by emailing us at diversity@ipcc.gsi.gov.uk or telephone: 08453 002 002, option 2.

We hope to produce an information leaflet for staff, job applicants and stakeholders to provide key information about the scheme and how it applies to our work.
