The IPCC has begun an independent investigation after a 21-year-old pedestrian died after a collision with a Surrey Police car.
The incident occurred at around 3.35am on Saturday 1 December on the A31 Hog's Back Road, near Guildford. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
IPCC investigators were deployed to the scene following a referral by Surrey Police and an independent investigation has begun.
It is understood the police car was on an emergency response to an incident.
