Sevenoaks shooting - IPCC witness appeal

Did you see or hear any of the fatal shooting by police in Sevenoaks on Monday 11 June?

If you did - or if you know somebody else who did - the Independent Police Complaints Commission would like to hear from you.

You can telephone the IPCC on 020-7166 3112 or you can email sevenoaks@ipcc.gov.uk.

Update

The IPCC's investigators have almost completed house-to-house enquiries.  They have traced some witnesses who heard what was happening.  But the Commission is still hoping that more householders will come forward if they heard anything.

The IPCC also hopes that there may be a few people who were out early on the Monday morning in the centre of the town.

The inquiry is awaiting the result of forensic tests on the firearms and other tests following the post-mortem last week.

The report of the firearms' tests are expected within three weeks.

The IPCC hopes that the investigation report can be completed within two to three months.
